Default Bosch HID problems

Hi all.

Have just fitted a bosch HID kit to my C5 low beam lights but they just won't fire up. I've upgraded the fuses to 20amp and have ran the engine to get plenty of power to the lights.

Any ideas anyone?

thanks

I agree, flip the power connector going into the ballast. On mine it could go both ways and the way that looks like it is right and where the clip holds fast was wrong way. Flipped it to the other way that looks wrong worked.

Thanks for the replies and yes I changed the polarity around and we had light.

The HID's make the stock lights look like something from the dark ages.

its funny how we look at these things...as simple as switching wires. i love my hid's as well. As if these cars didn't turn heads in stock form. congrats on the upgrade. you will prob never need to use high beams again.

He may have to use high beams again just for a second so the headlight doors will close..
