I have a 3200 Vigilante..It's not enough stall. I made some improvements but i would definately go bigger next time..The technology in converters now u could get a 4000 plus stall and still won't be lazy off idle.
I was talked into the 2800 P.I. converter and am glad I did go for it. I have 373 gears and the car feels like stock, (almost), until you hit it, Then, Hang On! It's great for traveling, mountain curves, everyday driving, and it was great at the drag strip last friday...12.72 no motor work, on runcraps...bob.
Like Limp, I too went w/the P.I. 2800 stall only with 3.90's in my A4. The car runs like stock til you nail it...Honestly i've only went floorboard WOT 1 time w/this set up since it was installed last fall & let me say this, you better be on you're toes when you pull the trigger
