I was going to bleed the brakes this weekend. Any tips on doing it?
I have new "bolts" to replace the old pieces that is supposed to allow you to bleed the brakes yourself, but I have not installed this yet. Sorry, I don't have the official name for the "bolt".
Is there a special procedure when doing these cars?
UPDATE:
I did it. I would recommend getting the "SPEED BLEEDER" (one person brake bleeding system) This is a device that replaces your bleeder screws with new ones, the new screws contain a check valve so that all you do is open the screw, pump the brakes several times, then retighten the screw. So easy.
Took about 1 hour only because I cleaned each wheel before putting them back on.
Just did it last night. Follow this sequence. RR, LR, RF, LF. I used a mity vac on the rear calipers (worked great) but the bleed fitting on the front is different and the vac hose would leak around the fitting. I used the conventional method on the front calipers.
Make sure your master cyl. doesn't run dry. I hear bad things happen then!
Sequence as above. Since you're going to the trouble, buy 2 (small) bottles and flush the old with the new. And remember, brake fluid eats paint. Be ready to wash any spills off.
