Water Temperature
I just installed the fan controller and 178 T Stat from Xtreme. the outside temperature was at 60 degrees and the water temperature never got over about 178 degrees and the fan was running as well. Has anyone else experienced this and do you know if the fan will run continuosly at that temp??

you need to adjust your fan controller so the fan is off at 178... in the fall and winter I set my fan so that it comes on around 200 F... in the summer I have the fan set to 160... in the summer with a 178 thermostat and the fan runing all the time.. your water temp can still get to 200 F in traffic..

Unfortunately the Xtreme kit does not have an adjustable fan controller. I guess I will just disconnect it during the colder months! What type of fan controller do you have??
