Help steering is clicking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I recently changed my power steering pump and tightened my crank pulley which I had to remove the rack and pinion, and steering to get to it. I put it all back together and it seemed fine until it started clicking when I turn the steering wheel, it sounds like its coming from the rack and pinion steering part of the car. What could that be? I don’t want to drive my car because im afraid im going to damage something.

Hi STEEL -
Put the car on jackstands and have someone turn the wheel back and forth while you inspect the goings on.
Likely you will find something that is rubbing on the moving components of the steering ram etc.
