Default Correct headers for future supercharger?

I have a 2003 Z06 and have just started to modify. I want to install headers and x pipes but don't want to install ones that won't be compatible with a future supercharger. Should they be large diameter tubes? Long or short? Ceramic? Has anyone addressed this dillema? I would appreciate any input. thanks, Joel

Most people will tell you to go with 1 7/8 headers, you will always have room to grow.

I run Kooks 1 7/8" headers on my supercharged 347ci motor. So do several other local supercharged C5s... BTW I made 620rwhp/572rwtq on my stock motor with a small 224 blower cam, Kooks 1 7/8" and Corsa exhaust...My new forged motor will be right at 800rwhp..

Definately long tubes. 1 3/4 for most engines. 1 7/8 for larger cubes (402 etc) or forced induction. Stainless or mild steel with ceramic coating is a personal preference and has no effect on power (may effect heat containment and life expectancy).
