Default Lazy eye (headlight) on 2004 C5.

I have suddenly had the issue of turning the lights off and one of them staying up, although the bulb is not illuminated. Then when you turn them back on, that one goes down and the other one comes up and on correctly. So it is constantly having one light up while the other is down.

Anyone had this problem? Any possible solutions.

Car is 2004 C5.

Thanks.

You probably have a stripped headlight gear.

check this link for some info on it.

I actually just replaced the gear about two weekends ago with the brass version from B. Franker....any other possibilities? It will crank up and down....so I don't believe the gear is damaged. It is brand new.
