1. That 125' distance was measured using run-flat tires that were a compromise in 1999 (they're not called Flintstones for nothing). A better example would be the '01 Z06 stopping distance: C&D tested the Z06 stopping distance from 70 mph at 152 feet, pretty darned good (for some reason I couldn't get the specs from 60-0).
HTH, and have a good one,
Mike
Here you go Mike. This site has multiple magazine reviews of the C5 Z06. It has 6 or 7 numbers for 60-0. There are some goofily high numbers, but most are around 100 feet. http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...06perform.html
I'll bump my stupid spelling error. No body ever answered the question though. What is it safe to say a 99 FRC will do 60-0 in?
let your tire pressure down to 25 pounds and slam the hell outa your breaks( hahahaha) and use the brake computer to stop you. probably bruise your stomache if you don't put your belt on friggin tight... you will win by 10+ feet
and don't death grip the steering wheel or you will sprain your wrists!
