Roger: It shows as a 16x1.5 on the LS1/6 and it is probably the same but I can't say for sure. The (LS1/6) part number is 21007339 and shown as "M16x1.5x6G, ENGINE BLK OIL GAL".

Give Bob at Fichtner Chev a call at 1-800-234-5284. The size is shown on the GM parts CD-ROM and I'm sure he can answer that question for you very quickly.
HTH,
Robert

Cool, thanks guys. I'll try them both. I'm hooking up a home-made pre-luber for the new motor and want to make sure I get all the oil passages and pump primed. Now I have to find a 3/8" NPT to 16x1.5 adapter...

You might wanna take a look at this:

http://www.mdrtuning.com/content/x-p...p-priming-tool

I have one of these and I used it several times, does the job. It's a lot easier than trying to piece together random stuff like they did on carcraft.

Or if all you need is the fitting here is a -6 one: https://www.mdrtuning.com/metric-adapter-6-x-16mm-15

And here is just the galley plug, I lost mine so I had to get one of those myself:https://www.mdrtuning.com/gm-perform...il-galley-plug
