Tie rod link removal, help please.
To get them off, jack up the car and remove the tire.
You'll need metric wrenches to break the lock nuts loose on tie rod end and to hold the ball joint from turning allen key wrenches.
Maybe a hammer to knock it free.
When you're done you'll need an alignment.

Remove wheel. Lug nuts on rotor backwards. Clamp wood extension drill bit to rotor with C-clamps. Mark plastic wheel well with silver dot at point on drill. This is your alignment setting. You may also want to break loose the jamb nut on the tie rod now too. It's 21, 22 or 23mm, I think. Loosen 18mm hex nut on tie rod end. You may need 6mm hex wrench to keep the tie rod from spinning, but I doubt it. Un-do the nut until it's flush with the top of the stud and whack it with a big hammer. 3 lb. mini-sledge works for me. Now that the taper has popped out you will need the 6mm to finish removing the nut.
Re-assembly is just the reverse. When point of the drill bit aligns with the silver dot, your alignment is back to where it was when you started.
