My passenger side window stopped working out of no where today.. Anyone have this happen to them? Easy fixes? Or speculations of what may have caused the issue?

Easy fix

Beat on the inside of the door panel (with your fist of course )a few times then try it. Its a common problem, try a search. Caused by crappy window motors.

A common problem, that will probably require replacement of the window regulator assembly.
You might be able to tap on the door panel, or remove the panel and tap on the motor and get it to work temporarily, but once the problem starts, you will be better off just replacing the whole assembly.
There are other posts on the subject if you do a search.

Hang on..................... Try this:

Grab the rubber accordion tube between the door and door frame and feel the TWO wiring harnesses inside. Grab them with two fingers and shake them. See if that resolves the issue. If it does...I have the solution!

Once it starts, it will only get worse till you replace the motor. I just replaced the motor with one from O'Riely's. It was $65 for a rebuilt motor only. Not the whole regulator. You just take 5 screws out of the old motor and move the back plate along with the drum to the new motor. It takes less than 5 minutes to just replace the motor instead of the whole regulator and is a lot cheaper. Only takes about 1 1/2 hours for the whole process.

Here is the answer to your request:

There is one of two issues that can cause this problem.

The first is a grounded serial buss wire. Some of the wires inside the one connector inside the accordion tube can have the insulation pull back and short out! Pop the rubber accordion tube of the door and door frame:

Pull the harness out of the drro frame pocket and look for bare wires:

Ther other issue is some of the pins inside the connectors have defective female pins which loose tension on the male pins and BAM,,,,you loose communications or power or what ever to cause window/door control failures.

The way to test the female pins is to use a spare male pin to test to see if the female pin has the proper grip on the male pin. Here is the pin that I use. It out of a broken emergency flasher switch.

Just insert the male pin in the female pin and if the male pin has resistance when you pull it out,,,its good~!!!!

Thats the real fix!!

Mine did the exact same thing ! I took mine apart and I had a few parts fall out of the regulator. Of course that wasn't good. Now I have to track down a new motor. Did you find out what your issue was?
