Does this mean dead TPS battery? All other posts say it usually shows XXX. This is on a 1999 with 30K miles - right front run flat tire which was just fine at 30 PSI. How strong of a magnet do you need to reprogram? A couple of history codes were present - B2578H/B2583H which are right front and left front turn signal monitor ckt but they are working fine.
Thanks,
Dan

If your DIC is displaying FLAT TIRE - XX where XX is a tire position (such as LR - Left Rear) then I'd get a pressure gauge and check ALL of your tires (in case the sensors were moved and not reprogrammed at some point).
Chances are 99.99999 percent that one of your tires is ... gee ... guess what ..... FLAT .....
You most probably have EMT tires on the car and visually you cannot tell if the tire has no air pressure .... which is why the car has the monitoring system on it.
dmicelli - You edited your post after mine, but you don't appear to have checked ALL FOUR tires as I recommended with the pressure gauge.
Most likely somewhere in the past the sensors and/or wheels got swapped, and you have a flat, you just don't know which one it is.
The sensors are acciurate, if there is a problem with them you will get an XX pressure reading, not a FLAT TIRE message ... you need to check ALL FOUR of the tires. With the FLAT message your maximum vehicle speed is 55 MPH, the PCM won't let the car get above that no matter how much throttle you give it.
Reprograming will not fix the FLAT message, but it sounds like you should reprogram after you get the tire fixed .... go here for instructions ......

No flats! All tires at 30 PSI, checked them before I drove it after I got the warning and just a few minutes ago. I was able to go over 55 MPH too!
Hmm... I checked the codes this AM before driving - C2100, 2105, 2115H indicating LF, RF, and LR TPM sensor malfunction! Must be something at a higher level. Any ideas?
Also the flat tire warning went away and now they are all registering.
