Default Unhooking your traction control?

My buddy wrecked his car a while back and since he got it fixed the T.C. engages just while driving. So how do you unhook it completely to where it is always off?

I think you can program it out with a Tech II but why not just fix it? Does he have weird tire sizes on the car now?

Instead of worrying about how to disconnect it he should be worrying about what somebody did to screw up the car. First thing to check are the wheels. Did they reverse the front and rear wheels? Are the tire sizes wrong? He didn't purchase a Model T and it can't be repaired like a Model T.

Yeah it was a ghetto repair job in his buddys garage and I'm pretty sure he doesnt want to spend the money to fix it the right way.

Probably won't cost any more than looking for what they did wrong. Probably got the front wheels on the rear instead of where they belong. This will trigger TC right away. Things like this are usually some bone head mistake made in the wee hours of the morning.
