I was replacing both the front and rear rotors today with some drilled and slotted rotors and ran into some problems with the rear rotors. After i replaced the front rotors and pads i went to the back and noticed that the new rear rotors did not look like they would fit like the existing rotors. I did not see how the new rotors would lock into place because they did not lock in with the rear axle bolt. I was wondering if i got the wrong rear rotors because i have the z51 suspension package and maybe they make different rotors for cars without the z51. If anyone has any information that can help me figure out what's going on i would appreciate it.
C5 Z51 has the standard rotor....
Locks in with the rear axle bolt???
the rear rotor has an inner drum on it for the parking brake shoes.
It may be that your shoes are open too much and won't let the rotor slide over them....
Adjust them with the star wheel
