Default Getting ready for the new Wheels!

Ok, since i got new wheels coming next week i thought i would clean up the wheel wells and the brakes on my car. So I lifted the car and pulled the wheels off

This is the before picture.

I always make me sad to see the car like this

My emergecy brake needed some adjustment so I brought my rotor down to napa and had the inside drum turned down. There was a little lip on the rotor that would not allow me to adjust it out and reinstall the rotor.

Here is the after it was turned down.

While I was at Napa the machinest let me use the blasting booth to rip the rust off of the rotors. brought them home and cleaned them off.

I masked off the wear portion and sprayed them grey.

Here are the painted rotors

I cleaned off the calipers and hung all of them.

here are the finished calipers after i filed off the Corvette logo.

I didn't get a chance to install the brakes because i went to our first drag day down at thunder valley, but I should be able to do it tomrrow, and my wheels should be here on Tuesday.

It is the duplicolor caliper spray paint. Got it at O'Rileys. It goes on great.

My wheels are in Oklahoma City right now and I should get them tommorw, so if i get off of work early enough i will get my tires mounted and balanced and have them on the car by this time tomorrow.

Absolutely beautiful!

I think your rocker panels need some Z06 ducts.

Thanks Dave, I don't think you will have a problem if you get motorsports. Our cars dont look that much alike.
