water pump leaking, which replacement?
i looked it up on the forum but i am trying to get the information organized in my head.
ok, when i get a replacement water pump, do i need to get a new thermostat and the neck?
if i instead opt for an 04 water pump or ls2 water pump which i read will fit a 1998 corvette, do i need to get a new thermostat and neck?
are there any benefits to geting an ls2 or 04 w.p., do they flow better etc?

According to GM, the LS2 waterpump has had a slight redesign that reduces the replacement interval. In essence, you should NOT have to replace it again. As far as flow, they are the same.
I would just get whatever is cheapest. You can usually find them for around 100-125 bucks shipped. I found my LS2 waterpump for 115 shipped brand new from a guy off of LS1tech.com
