Just a point of info...I have a rapid pulse on my left turn signal, but normal on right turn signal. I noticed that the left DRL bulb isn't burning. Is this an idication of a burned out bulb, or is the "Electrical Gremlin" about to bite me? I will change the bulb, just inquiring minds want to know! PS...No LEDs.
If your forearms are small enough the quickest/easiest way is to push the brake duct out of the way ( in and down) reach in thru the duct,
locate the socket, squeeze the detent, rotate the socket and remove it form the housing.
The pigtail is long enough to pull the bulb out thru the duct opening so you can change the bulb ( amber 4157 or 3157)
otherwise, manually raise the headlight, remove the platic bezel ( 3 phillips screws) around the headlight and reach in and around to locate the socket....
I changed the bulb and the rapid pulse went back to normal. Problem solved, but good to know about the rapid flashing. Seems that the turn signal needs to have a bulb which burns on the flash signal. Before, the DRL bulb would not flash, yet still came on with the headlights. Weird, huh! Thanks for the responses..Jack
