You already have an LS6 intake manifold (I assume that its the manifold you are referring to) so what would you need to change?
okay, here's the deal-- i bought a 99 w/o an engine-- bought an 02'engine w/o a manifold!! sooooo, the question is should i spend the extra $$$ for the ls2 manifold, find an origional ls6 that came with it or just put an ls1 manifold on it?--what is the difference!!

Go with an LS6 intake and C5 throttle body, they are just fine up to around 500rwhp
I would suggest the search. But,a quick synopsis is. Stock C5's from 97 through 00 got LS1 manifolds. 2001 and up got LS6 manifolds. The difference in the LS1 and LS6 manifold is minimal without other mods. But as you start needing more air the LS6 will outflow the LS1 more and more.

The FAST manifold is very expensive and it's fit and finish aren't that good either. They have a tendency to leak, and are easy to break at the throttle body mounts. However, they flow the best of all 3 and with a good h/c combo will give you +10-15hp over the LS6.

As I suggested above, try the search on LS1 vs LS6 and also FAST and you will find way more info than you can get from this post.
