a corvette tech told me that i would have charging problems with an underdrive pully on a street car. i went with the standard size fluidamper. i'm sure that there will be members say they have no problems with an underdrive pully on the street, but i wanted to stay on the safe side.
I got one on mine and the car run smoother than the stock one and no problems at all use an arp bolt once you change it your not going to want to do it again
With a 3 peice st (ie. March) on a 1990 L98 -
- Will the air pump be turning slower and subsequently will the emissions be effected? I live in NY State
Also - on the the 3 peice set - will another serpentine belt be required - other than stock length?

Your air pump is electric and if NY is plugging into the OBD reader only then you can totally remove it, have it tuned out so you don't get codes, and you're good to go. My understanding is that the air pump only activates during startup/warmup.
