Need Help C5 wont start
It Started with no start, i tried to fix it and now my steering column is lock. the unit has been changed twice first in 2000 and then in 2005. i fixed the bare connector in the door booth but the car still wont start i tried to reprogram it according to a thread and now the steering column is lock. Car has 130K i was about to change the starter but now i will spend the money on a gun and shoot myself instead. any ideas?

Check the voltage at the starter to see if enough voltage is getting to it when you turn the key.
Other things to check include the theft deterrant relay, ignition cylinder that reads your key, battery connections and if you have a 6 speed, the clutch pedal sensor.
