their were 4 slots cut around the inside of the inside pipe around the diameter were the exhaust pipe goes in. I already have mine back on or I would take a picture. You can see them, their not far inside.

So if I am reading the thread correctly,it is a piece of tubing that is inserted into the left side of the muffler in this diagram which blocks off the passage where all the red arrows are?

I believe you are correct. At least thats the way I understand it. Im working with "johnnied" right now trying to get the information together. I want to go to a muffler shop and have a set made up and detail the install (with pics) for everyone to see.

I am thinking about doing this maybe on my magnaflow setup because it is a bit quite for my taste.I hope the interior muffler design is similar....

I'm almost positive I did not have those. I wonder if I have an older system or something. Without the slots, i am sure the inserts would do nothing but restrict flow. Thanks for the info

Guys:

I was just told by Corsa, that adding these "inserts" will reduce the exhaust flow a bit. With my car being modified as it is, and dyno tuned to a specific Air Flow Ratio (AFR), I am choosing not to do this mod. If your car is not modified much this might be an idea to make the Touring a bit louder though
