Default cam parts selection??

From reading the forum, I am trying to pick out what parts I need for a cam upgrade. The cam I am going with is the comp cam 232/234 @ .050 lift, with .595/598 lift. This is a stock 02 LS1 with LG long tubes and Halltech stinger intake. I am looking at the new version of the comp 918 spring that says they are good up to .625 lift. The pushrods
I am not sure about, I am looking at the comp #7638 magnum pushrods and the #7955 hi-tech pushrods, I honestly dont see or know what the difference between these two pushrods is. Does anyone know? Also, will I need upgraded retainers with this cam/spring combo?

Thanks,
Chris

maybe an ls2 chain and high flow oil pump while you're down there, just make sure you put the blue o-ring on the tube first then put it into the oil pump, it' probably doesn't make any sense now, but it will.
i think springs will come with new retainers

Go for the underdrive pulley while you're at it.

My suggestion as well, for $260 you get springs (double), spring seats, valve stem seals, Ti retainers and new keepers. That's what I did, how can you go wrong?
