Default Loud Lifter noise after changing heads...

Howecer- On the Left bank the lifters are totally raiseing hell, I figured Id let the car run, I let it run for 10 minutes and Its still very loud..

Is there anytrhing I could have done wrong?

I used Some trickflow 7.400 Pushrods. they are rounded at the ends, but The only Thiing I noticed was that the stock ones have a ball o the end, These are are one piece, They assured me this didnt matter...

Anyone?

your pushrods are fine. Minew was doing that when i done the cam change. I just turned the car off for about 5 min and when i restarted it the noise was gone. Don't know why but it worked.

What is the rest of your setup? What is the oil pressure on the display, is it normal or low? What heads are installed? Did you measure for the pushrod length or just install? What rockers are you running?

The 5/16 Trick Flow pushrod design should be fine, I am running them right now as well.

Im Running Stock LS1 heads I had to put new ones on for a bent valve.

New Pushrods, 7.400 Trickflow
Milled Head .025 - Not too much
Stock rockers.
Stock Headgasket

Question? Does the rocker arm pedistal have a certain position to be installed? I installed it to where the GM stamping was facing up on both sides..

This morning I tried starting it up and it was still loud and I held it at lower rpms.. 2000 and it was still doing it, and I swear I felt the engine feel like it was bogging again almost like my bent valve

I dont think its possible I have damaged it just by doing that? I hope not. Im hopeing I left a plug wire or something loose but I had to go to work so I havent diagnosed it.

The passenger side Is not doing this, but I dont think I lubricated the driver side I was so tired, The passenger side is quiet.

Tonight Im gonna slide the cover off and lubricate everything real good and re torque them..

Am I worrying over nothing?

I am assuming you pulled both heads, did they check for bent valves in both heads? I remember your other post, you had an over-rev and bent valve(s). Did they lap the valves and check for color?
