Looking for Brake Pad recomendations
My only question now is how you guys deal with the restricted space of the wheel wells? I found breaking loose those 19mm molts with loc-tite nearly impossible. There was just no space to swing a breaker bar. On the front I could at least turn the wheels out to get more working space but the rear was a nightmare. Same goes for the torque wrench to finish the job.
By the way I was using the new Sears "Lift and Secure" jack. I must say I think it is a great idea. It is a little too tall so I drove the car onto 2 pads made up of 3 pieces each of 3/4" scrap plywood about 12" square. Then there was plenty of clearance for the jacks. I like it because I just put it under the lift points, lift the car then leave the jack stand portion behind. It comes with 2 jack stand attachments. I bought it because I needed to remove my steering column to replace the position sensor a few weeks ago and I got frustrated lifting it with my old jack and trying to figure out where to place the jack stands.
