I'm having the same code, but it only comes up rarely... twice since i put my headers on 2 weeks ago and after the car has been running for 30 minutes at speed. I just put the headers on and they do not incorporate the AIR system. Is there a code in the tuning i can delete?
P0410 DTC indicates that the secondary air system is not functioning properly. I just fixed this on my 02 Coupe. One of the common causes is a deteriorated vacuum tube which runs underneath the battery. If the battery has leaked at all, this is probably the cause. Take the passenger side front wheel off. Remove the wheelwell panel that's right in front of the battery. You'll find a plastic conduit about 3/8" diameter that will have two wires and 1 black hard plastic vacuum tube (about 1/8" diameter) running inside. The vacuum tube allows suction from the intake manifold to open a valve which is on the discharge side of the secondary air pump. The air pump is located under the driver's side headlight. It sucks clean air from the air filter and pushes it through a hose up the driver's side fender to the area right under the brake master cylinder. There it tees and goes through a check valve in each leg of the tee and puts air into the exhaust headers on startup to dilute the emissions. If the driver's side check valve is blocked, you'll get DTC P1415, if the passenger side is blocked (that check valve is between the back of the engine and the firewall - you can't see it) you'll get P1416. If both are blocked you can get P0410. But the most likely cause is the deteriorated vacuum line under the battery. You can quickly and easily check that and fix it.
