I hope someone can help with this seeing that the dealership cant... I have an LS1 in my C5, and there is a hose coming off of the right side of the intake, right behind the throttle body. It goes under the fuel rail to the back of the block. Does anybody know what this even does?
There is a hole in the front right after the connection to the intake, and I am having delayed throttle response and a horribly low idle when I let of the gas. The car wants to stall. Anybody have this problem, or even know what the hose does?
Not quite sure what hose you mean--but if it has a hole or if it is leaking-then you have a terrible vacuum leak--That alone would make the engine do stupid things--Especially surging idle speeds- and stalling--or poopping back during deceleration --A picture of the hose where it connects on both ends would help identify what it is for
PCV connection hose runs from drivers side valve cover to the location behind throttle body.
Some models it connects to both valve covers. Just replace it with some high temp rubber fuel line.
