Default Intake Swap

I have a 01 and my buddy has a 00. I bought a new intake and throtle body and was wondering if my old intake and throttle bodywill work on his car.

The 01 is an LS6 intake. In order to install it on the 2000, you need to order the 01/LS6 coolant cross over pipe & rear coolant block off plugs.

RU sure??? LS6 intakes on LS1 engine since 01.

Look at the bottom of the manifold

Flat bottom LS6

Concave Bottom LS1

I hope you didn't buy an LS6 intake, your car came with one stock. If you did, just sell it to your buddy, it's good for about 10-12 hp on his car. And if you bought an LS2, it doesn't flow as well as the LS6.

Throttle bodies are the same.
