I probably plan on purchasing the SSAC longtubes due to the fact I ran them on my camaro and loved them and had no problems for over a year... plus I don't mind tinkering with fitment issues.
Anyways is there an X-pipe that will clamp to these and bolt right up to the catback? (I will not be using cats) I suppose the x-pipe they provide is too short and needs some extentions from the longtube flange to the x-pipe flange.
Are all longtube/x-pipe systems like this where they need some extentions or is it just SSAC's brilliant idea to not care for the people who don't want cats?
I assume that they build them that way as the number of people who don't use their cats, combined with the number of people doing this in their garage without the assist of an exhaust shop is a fairly small number. I would call SSAC and see if they can either supply you with slip on extensions, or just build you an x pipe with the extra length built in.
