Has anyone had a problem running wheels without TPS? Does the car ever go into reduced power mode? I need a set of wheels and tires for the track and I don't want to run TPS unless I have to.
It'll run fine, just say "service tire monitoring system" on the DIC which you can clear. The later model C5's you can delete the message permanently I believe

Thanks for the input. I've heard rumors that the car will go into limp mode. But it doesn't sound like it.
You'll only go into reduced power mode if the sensor reads the tire is flat. I had this happen when one of my sensors went bad. There was air but the sensor reported that there wasn't any so....reduced power mode. I have also run drag radials with no sensors and had no problems except for the DIC message. So the morale of the story is bad sensor can cause issues, no sensor=no problem!
