How much for a mirror installed???????????
Went to dinner and when I came out it was side swiped :mad :mad :mad :mad I am getting my rockers fixed soon anyway.

I need the same info . I do not care if it is self dimming or not. I know it has to be paint.

Hi guys,
This is a VERY SORE subject for me due to the EXTREMELY POOR design of the "BREAK" away mirrors!!! I hate them!!!!! Mine cost $200 to fix and install(No warmers or anything on mine) Just an FYI.

I broke mine going into the garage this spring. There is a different mirror with the memory package even it the Chevy parts guys swears there isn't (like he did for me).
It is very simple to install, so the issue is finding someone to paint it.
I got a painter from the dealership (brother knew him) to paint it on the side $25. Unfortunately he painted the 1st one which was the wrong one. The dealer got me the right mirror but wouldn't paint it.
Mirror from dealer about $140. Painted at a bodyshop about $25-50. Easy install with no hassles from dealer...priceless.
let me know if you need the blow by blow steps...it's easier than changing your oil.
