Help, I lost the passenger door!

I tried a different approach. Once I had the connectors in a reachable position, I used Scotchkote on the wires. Commonly referred to as liquid insulation. To ease the boot back on, i used a little silicone. So far so good.

I found it hard to believe a door sensor could take out my passenger window as well as the gauges in the dash board at the same time.

So this could also cause e.g. a problem that fuel level gauge doesn't work? I had this problem couple of days ago that fuel level was zero (with full tank) and there was illuminated "check gages" in dash board. It had this problem couple of times, then I left the car for couple of hours and jumped in again => problem disappeared... So could be a problem with driver's door... So I need to check those wires
Check the right hand side wires and door sensor. That was the unit that took out my gauges.
