Pull the beast in the garage today, went to put the windows up and the passenger side did nothing. Checked p. door related fuses under the dash, nothing blown. Symptoms; window will not go up or down from either door, p. door will not lock from either door, and p side mirror will not move. My next move would be to check connectors in the door, once I figure out how to get the door panel off. LOL. It was working fine during the drive, then nothing.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have heard of this before, ck the wires going from the actual car into the door through that black groumet (sp?) from whats told the wires it there can split open and "short" out. Thats the first spot to check.

VinceC5 is right on target. I had the same problem. Basically you need to pry the connector apart and then clean it good with electronic component cleaner and then use DI grease to prevent future corrosion.
The repair is not too terrible in the sense you don't have to pull apart a million things to get to the troublesome connector. However, reaching the connector is a different story. Unless you have very small hands, getting your hands in door jam and effectively using them to work on the connector is a challenge.

I thought you left your car in some unsavory place and someone stripped the car of the passenger door or the door fell off for some reason.
I wiggled the harness and magically the window and door lock now works, lol! now for the trick. Is the connector in the body, or in the door? There must be an easier way to pull the boot off? Is it usually a loose connection/conector or am i a victim of corrosion? I know its hard to say without seeing it, but I was just wondering what the typical problem was...
The problem is actually the exposed wire in the 2nd pic. It gets grounded. All you have to do is insulate it. The boot is the easiest thing to remove and put back. You can do this - boot off, pull on the wiring and then just tape it up. You could actually just pull on the boot by the body and get the wiring away from the ground point. I did that about 3 months ago and the problem hasn't come back.
