Hey anyone out there running the Zex direct port nitrous in there fast intake. I'm running 75 shot currently I want to give a little more nitrous.
I would love to run 125 shot to 175 shot. I have been told not to run more than 75 shot. I have done a cam change and heads are the Patriot L6 phase 3. Among other mods but my bottom end is stock crank and pistons. I also have the Vararam ram air.
The C5 at the dyno after tunning ran 500 RWHP with 75 shot.
My question if I up the shot to 175 and have the computer retuned. Is it safe to run 175 shot or do I have to do some more engine mods to the bottom end or top end to avoid blowing the engine. I need a little advise on this one.

I have a zex 100 wet on top of my H/C with FAST intake, not a direct port system though. I have 0 problems with it. I don't think i would go much past a 125 shot with your setup, I don't think your hp will be the limiting factor but the amount of torque a 175 wet shot would produce!! I personally think that on top of a stout h/c would grenade the bottom end!! Go ask this in the FI section and let some of the nitrous pros chime in!!
