GM started putting AGM batteries in the C5 in 2001. From what I can tell they are
much better than the old Delco that gave the pre 2001 owers fits. I had one in
my car for 15 months. I am getting a fresh one to got with the new engine.

ps: I forgot to add some have an AGM label. Mine did not have the label and I don't
recall the Delco part number. If your say 7-years, it's probably an AGM
