Default Header install with heads off. Easier?

I plan to install ported LS6 heads on my LS1 and install headers at the same time. With the heads off, can I put the headers in from the top without issue? Seems like there should be plenty of room with them off.

Yeah, much more room to drop them in when the heads are off.

I was pretty sure it would be very easy, but if it wasn't , I was just going to install the headers now, then the heads when I was ready.

Thanks!

What would you know about my headers?

I'm hoping to install heads, cam and the headers in the next few weeks

If only all header installs could have the heads off it would be a lot simpler!

You will be happy doing it with the heads off and it will be much much easier!

Thanks,Matt

Do it with the heads off, you'll be glad you did.

Cool. then I'll wait to install the headers until I am ready to put everything else on. I was sure it would be easier to install, I just wasn't sure I could do it from the top.

Thanks!
