I think I've seen others post about similar occurrences, but I can't find anything via the search.
I jumped in the vette this morning and I noticed that some of my settings had been reset. For example, the average fuel mileage was reset to 0, and my HUD settings were reset to all on. Other settings like my tripodometers were not reset.
I'm the only driver (it's my daily driver), and the the last time I took it out was Saturday night.
It can't be good but it's probably the battery cable connections. I'd disconnect them and check for debris/corrosion. You still got the original battery?
Before you disconnect your battory cables,perform a diagnostic systems check and see if there are any stored codes.As noted you may have a BCM problem that could be due to water leaking onto(into)you BCM case.Have your HVAC-drain hole checked for any signs of dirt,allowing water to back-up in the case.Wm
