Alignment needed after cam swap?
Do I need an alignment after doing a cam swap? I can easily ensure that the steering wheel is not moved while the rack in removed and reinstalled.

If you loosened the adjuster nuts for the tie-rods, then you will most likely need an alignment. Yes, you must keep the steering wheel straight while its out otherwise you will have other issues with the steering wheel position sensor. At the cost of the tires these days being so high, you might want to get it aligned anyway after.
