Just had this msg show up. going to check for any codes and would like to know what module to be looking for or should I just note ALL current codes? msg appeared while the car was not moving, just sitting with engine running, hadn't been doing any spirited driving or anything, just cruising. parked car for about 2 hours restarted, no new msgs. Will update thread after I pull codes

Ok. Three codes...all History: C1925, & U1064 on both LDCM & RDCM. I cleared all codes and will recheck next time I drive (tomorrow) to see if any recur. I'm concerned about the U1064 codes. Exactly what does that code apply to and should I start sweating. GMPP used up(milege limit:60k on the clock) Though driven a lot, car has been well kept.
Was it a rainy night or day if Georgia? Grounding issue bet it was wet when this happened. Clean em up and seal them with good stuff the grounding oint behind the headlights is where I would start
C1925??? (I find no such code) could that have been a C1295?= brake light circuit problem?
U01064= "loss of communications".....gotta be a grounding issue?
When there is a problem anywhere in the system, the computer does not know what's going on with the car or cannot respond correctly. Rather than risking the wrong response which could potentially wreck you car, the whole system is simply disabled for the remainder of the ignition cycle. At this time you will see the ABS and Traction Control warning indicators illuminated on the instrument cluster .It may be tied to the EBCM so check this:
The EBCM is grounded to the chassis on the left frame rail, just forward of the engine. It's the Black box. As you can see, it's real easy for dirt and moisture to get in that area which isn't exactly good for electronic components. Even if you never drive your car in the rain, it'll still get wet when you wash it, and that could be enough.
Start by unbolting the chassis ground, then take the chassis ground connector apart.
Corrosion that can build up in the ground connector. clean it up with a wire brush before putting it back together. Also clean off the chassis and bolt to make sure you've got a good clean ground.
*If you are having any other electrical issues, it's a good idea to check all the grounds and the Battery strength & connections.
