Default Exhaust gaskets?

Just wondering, should I get the OEM gaskets and pay 23 dollars for both or get the aftermarket fel-pro gaskets for 12? Looking for a quick response as I'm installing headers tomorrow. Thanks!

GM MLS are awesome. If the fel-pro are graphite or paper just say no.

Stock MLS exhaust gaskets for an LS1 Camaro are the way to go. You need GM part number 12600530. I paid ~18 for the pair.

When did this occur, I just bought a set from Gene and he told me that 12600530 was the correct part number.

I ordered them from Gene just before the holiday and got in the 12600530's. I guess it must have been some of the last ones he had on the shelf.

I reused my stock ones. Other than a little ****, they were in perfect shape. Have 8,000 miles on the ones in my car with zero issues, and just installed headers on my wife's car and reused hers too.
