Just installed some HID 4300's for the fog lights. My problem is whenever I switch over to the fogs only one comes on then the 10 ACM fuse blows. I've heard concerns about just upgrading the fuse to a higher wattage as being a bad idea. Should I upgrade to a 15ACM Fuse ? Thanks

I would double check your connections first......my HID fogs ran without popping with the stock 10amp fuse as well as with a map. But I too had times when only one came on, sometimes both, sometimes one and then the other would start up 30 seconds later. Now I have added a battery based wiring harness and this is not occurring any longer.
The fuse blowing would concern me that there could be a short somewhere in the wiring or one ballast hooked up backwards or has a bad ground.
Having only one come on is a common issue at startup likely due to the wimpy OEM wiring.
Are you starting the fogs with the engine already running for a bit ?
Before or after the headlights are turned on ?
i don't have stock wiring myself though, so i have no firsthand experience.
My installation directions said to upgrade to a 20 amp fuse. Mine were doing the same thing until I realized I missed that on the directions. No problems since.
