Default stock clutch

hey guys i'm just wondering how much hp a stock clutch can take before it starts slipping? I just hate the feeling of a stiff clutch pedal.

I have 464/429 and on the stock clutch with 45k on it. It is ok as long as you don't beat on it. Then it likes to stick half way up. It has around 2500 miles with 464/429 going to it.

Have you checked the clutch fluid? Sounds like it needs to be changed.

From what I have read about 450 rwhp is about the limit for a stock clutch.

Get a textralia clutch. They have about the same pedal feel as the stock clutch. Run a search on textralia and you will find a lot of info.

I have a Textralia clutch and it does feel very close to stock. But depending on how much power you have, you may just want to get a C6 ZO6 clutch put in. It's WAY cheaper and will hold a lot more power than the C5 ZO6 clutch.
