Default Help!!! Tail Lights, Turn Signals Not Working

I have installed the halo kit on my 04 vert as soon as I purchased it. I noticed that the turn signals up front and the back are not working. Also when you turn on the car but do not have the fog lights or headlights on that the halo's do not work. Only when you turn on the fog lights or headlights do the halo's turn on but then they do work when you press the brakes only the third light works. I have checked every fuse, and double checked that I have the halo's installed correctly and I even put the old bulbs back in to check and I still have the same problem. Also the turn signals in the instrument cluster do not blink nor does the hazard lights work at all either. Anybody have any idea.. Thanks in advance..

Could you list the problems you are having, I'm having trouble getting the whole problem. The turn signals don't work nor do the hazards, when the brake pedal is pressed only the third light works, I'm I understanding that correctly?

Here is an idea with out knowing for sure everything that is, or is not working. Have you have checked all the grounds, if they are all good you could potentialy have a hazard switch problem, turn signal switch problem, or wiring issues between the two in the steering column. I know these problems are common on older model years (97-00) I'm not sure on the newer years.

No turn signals at all in the front of the car or in the tail lights. The blinkers in the instrument panel are not working either. Absolutely nothing with the turn signals.

Second the tail lights only light up when you turn on the head lights or turn on the fog lights but they only light up and thats it. They dont not get any brighter when you press the brake pedal and only the 3rd light works.

I read through different threads and I dont think its the grounds or they wouldnt work at all and the car only has 7000 miles on it but Im going to check them tommorrow anyway. Im guessing like you said that its a hazard switch problem but does the turn signals and the brake light work through the hazard switch. Also the hazard lights arent working either. I guess Im just going to go and buy the hazard switch and pull the radio out and change it out tommorrow and see what happens. But if you have any other ideas I would appreciate it.. Thanks..

Yes the turn signals and brake lights work through the hazard switch and the multi-funtion turn signal lever, here is a diagram, usually the ELEC flasher is what causes most hazard/turn signal problems. Sorry didn't get back to you sooner, did the hazard switch fix your problem?

Im hoping it will. Autozone or Advance didnt have or could not even order the switch so I purchased it off of ecklers and I am going to put it in this week. But I appreciate the diagram and hopefully that will fix the problem.. Thanks
