I was quoted $600.00 by local tuner to install a set of LG Street headers on my 2000 FRC. Is that a decent price? I'm considering installing myself but don't know for sure.
I would think $350-400 would be a fair price. I installed mine myself, didn't take too long maybe 6 hours or so taking my time. You could probably find someone on the forum willing to help with the install. I'm always willing to lend a hand.
Miami-Dade County area you're looking at 3 to 5 hours quoted labor time for a longtube install/plug+wire swap. The plugs and wires add little to no labor as they are usually removed anyway for the install.
With labor rates running from $75 to $125 that's gonna equate to a range of $225 on the extreme low end to $625 on the extreme high end. Most shops that have quoted me the job are right in the middle....$350.
