Took my car back to MTI today to have underdrive pulleys and " very high flow cats" . I am stoked. I went from 374.6/368.9 to 394.3/385.5 corrected. Uncorrected was 412.5/403.2. All done on the same Dynojet. The key to the cam working on an 02 Z seems to be the exhaust. Not just headers either. I am happy to say that Jeff continues to show his committment to his customers. He was intent on finding the power that we felt should have come from the cam and headers install. My net yield for cam, headers, pulleys, pcm is 37 RWHP and 39 RWTQ. Not bad! I can't wait for the heads to be finished. I hope to put this thing over 430 RWHP on the motor. If anyone is thinking of tuning their 2002 Z, I recommend Jeff and his team at MTI. They all show the same enthusiasm for power and customer satisfaction. And no, I don't own stock in MTI nor am I related or have any vested interest in their business. I just met them 6 weeks ago.

The 12.145 was before the latest mods. I was at 374 rwhp when I ran that . It was last sunday to be exact. I believe that I will hit 11.9x this weekend if the weather cooperates.

It sure is a shame that we have to state a paragraph of disclaimers about our relationship with our tuner when we are happy with the results we produced with them. I've met Jeff and was impressed by his dedication to detail on my friend Tom Garland's car. Good for you!
Hi, thanks for the info. My car goes in to MTI on Monday for stage ii heads/cams with programming and underdrive pulley so I was wondering about the cats. What kind are they and how much did they cost?
rfgoss1,
Is this on a 2002 Z06? I have a 2002 Z with MTI Ram Air, TPIS headers and a powerduct. Can you give all your dyno numbers? Did you do a baseline then add some mods, then do the cam? I am thinking about doing the Cam shortly after Christmas. How many miles on the car? Thanks for all the info. Oh ya, what was the price tag on the cam, pulley and pcm programing?

MTI makes the underdrive pulley but they are always back ordered. you need to call them and see if they have any in stock, if not, then they will hold one for you when it comes in.
