Default Hvac Electrical Problems

Hello everyone. I just purchased my C5 a Few days ago and The only thing wrong with it is it seems that my Blend Doors are not functioning Properly. Passenger side has Hot air and Drivers side has Cold no matter the settings on the Dual Climate. Now initailly I thought the motors were going bad however as I dig Furthur Into it I find that I may have an Electrical Gremlin. MY codes from the HVAC are as follows

B0361 Left Actuator Feedback Short to GND
B0363 Left Actuator Feedback Open
B0365 Right Actuator Feedback Short to GND
B0367 Right Actuator Feedback Open
B0446 Right Actuator Out of Range

These codes pop up no Matter how many times I clear them. Also the B0361 Never goes away no matter how many times I clear it. Can someone please Help?

Turn the HVAC system "OFF" and then clear the codes! When you clear the codes, you will / should hear the actuators cycle through there ranges. I had to do this 5-6 times before mine stayed reset! Give that a try and let us know how you made out.

If that fails, your actuators are probably bad. Remove the drivers side (its the easiest one to get to) and see if the gear is busted:

Well I tried to Clear the codes 9 Times with the Code B0361 Never Staying Cleared. Then the rest would pop back up within Seconds. I have also been Having Problems with my HVAC Fan Speed Control. Is this related in any way?

Rick

Looks like your going to need a new actuator/s. Pull the drivers side one out and examine the gears to see if that is the issue. It sure wont hurt.

I doubt if the fan speed is related. What are the symptoms???

Well when I change the Fan speed Higher or Lower sometimes it wont change until I press it again after it goes back to the External Temp Screen. After I press it again it will change but only after I press it then let it cycle back to the Ext. Temp screen then Press it again. Looks like this comming weekend I will be pulling the Drivers side motor and inspecting it.
