I am going to order the Texas-Speed long tubes with the off road x-pipe for my 2002 Z06 and just had a couple quick questions that I did a search on and couldn't find an answer to. Those with TSP headers feel free to chime in!
1. Do I need to buy front O2 extensions with these headers?
2. Do I need the headers with AIR fittings or no (sorry this is new to me and I just got my first C5 3 weeks ago)?
3. Anything else I will need for the install?
For the quickest answer, i would just call TSP directly. After all, who knows more about these headers than them anyway? Not to mention they could supply you with anything else you may need for install...

What does Texas speed suggest? or were they no help?
When I bought mine last year the O2 extensions came with the headers dont know if they still do or not. As far as AIR fittings, do you plan on keeping the AIR system or do want to remove it, I personally removed mine. Give Texas Speed a call, I called them when ordering my headers and they were very helpful and informative, can steer you in the direction on any issues you might have. Good Luck with your purchase
I just installed a set a few weeks ago. They come with 02 extensions for the front 02s, all the necessary clamps, and a new dipstick.
You will need to pick up new manifold gaskets and possibly new X-pipe to cat-back gaskets. My rear gaskets were fine so I didn't need new ones. For the manifold gasket, you want to pick them up for a late 90's (98 or 99) Camaro, as these are the round ports. I got a Felpro set from my local store for $11 (part number MS92467). You could also get them from Gene Cully at GMPartsDirect.com. You will also need to remove the tunnel cover (30+ 8mm bolts) and cut a rectangular hole across it to feed the 02 wires up through and keep them away from the exhaust.
I ordered mine without AIR fittings, so I had to remove the intake manifold to pull the lines out, as well as take the pump out of the front bumper. This was not hard and only took a couple of hours. If you do order with AIR fittings, the new manifold gasket set will come with new gaskets for the fittings.
Depending on how many miles you have, changing the spark plugs and wires might not be a bad idea while you're in there. Regardless if you change them or not, you will want to buy some Koolsox to go over the plug wires to keep the heat away from the new headers.
If you have any more questions on the install let me know. I installed mine by myself in about 4 hours with jackstands.

Wow, great info! Just curious, what are the benefits of removing the AIR system? Anything bad about leaving it on? Can you re-use the original exhaust manifold gaskets if they are in good shape? Thanks!
The AIR system is simply for emissions purposes. The pump kicks on when you first start the car and injects air into the headers to heat the cats up faster. It shuts off after a few minutes. So i guess the only benefit is you will be a little more environmental friendly. If you live in an area where emissions is required, there is a chance you won't pass the visual inspection if you remove the system.
If you buy a long tube kit without cats, the AIR is pretty pointless. I would recommend you remove it entirely as it will free up space in the engine bay, make it look nicer, and shave some weight. You will have to get the code shut off by your tuner, but this is not a big deal as you will also have to have the rear 02 sensors shut off as well when you get tuned. Another downfall is that a lot of guys have had the AIR tube provisions crack or completely break off.
You can re-use the stock manifold gaskets, but I would recommend buying the ones that fit a Camaro. When you take the manifold off you will see. The stock ports are smaller and oval shaped, whereas the new headers have bigger, round ports. The gaskets for the Camaro are the same size and same shape as the new headers.
