Default Starting Problems

Anyone have any idea what may be going on?? I drove my 04 coupe home from work yesterday without any problems. Started easily when leaving work, started easily when leaving the gas station and started easily when leaving another errand. Got home, parked in the garage. Had another errand to run 30 mins later....and she wont start! I get no codes in the DIC. All the accessories turn on but when I turn the key all the way to start the motor, nothing happens. No clicking, no dimming of anything, no codes! Any idea? I'm thinking my ignition switch may have taken a dump but I dunno...

More likely the starter connection where the red wire from the battery connects. The nut could be loose, but more likely it's loose inside the starter. Take hold of the red wire near the starter connection and shake it and watch the bolt on the starter the wire is connected to. If it moves at all, you'll need a starter. You didn't say, and I didn't look, but if it's a manual, your clutch switch may be bad or misadjusted. Pump the clutch a few times and see if it starts. If it's an auto, forget that and make sure it's in park/neutral fully. Still think it might be the starter post though. Post what you find out.
