Good evening gentlemen getting ready for the magna-flow exhaust step.
Can I eliminate the stock cats totally. I live in a non emmision zone so that is not a problem. Is there any benefits or drawbacks in doing this? If I do what else do I need (sensors?) or any info would help
You'll be fine. The Magnaflow's are very subtle, it won't be too loud or obnoxious, probably just right. Magnaflows with X-Pipe ROCK. :smash: You'll need O2 sims to prevent your PCM from throwing a code due to the lack of post cat oxygen sensors being replaced. You'll lose a "hair" of low end by removing the cats but gain it all back on top-end. I'd say go for it! Heck yeah!
