Not too much on the LS1 being ported but here is an interesting article on LS series manifolds!

What year LS1 manifold is it and is it truly an LS1. If it were a ported LS6, you would be better off. The only porting that you would see is some port matching and clean up in the intake openings and a little around the intake opening.

its a ls1 not a ls6 you can see were the porting was done just curious if anyone has done this and their results. or do not bother trying and getting a ls6 instead, only have a cai, power duct with smooth coupler,cat-back and a superchips flashpaq tune.

If you have an LS1 on it now and you have an LS1 thats ported in hand, hell, stick it on and see if it makes a difference. It cant hurt and the O rings are only a few bucks.

Like Bill said, stick it on and try it. It is a fast install, and you can reuse the gaskets. 2 hours max to find out if you feel a difference.

You ought to get it dynoed before and after to see if it actually did anything. I would guess it would not. I'd almost be afraid of carving on a composite manifold.

The composite that our manifolds are made of is easy to work with. You just have to be careful not to make deep gouges. Its a lot like working with body filler. The right tools make all the difference.

Ill be carving up my FAST 90 here soon to make it breath a little better. I may not get all the results of a TONY Fast but, I will make surely make some improvements! I will show some before and after pics. Wish me luck.

The manifold is sand casted 40% glass filled nylon. It is a semi crystalline structure...I would not try to alter this manifold unless you have specifically controlled speeds and feeds, because the glass can cause heat degradation and ruin the strength of the manifold..
