3rd (high level ) brake light.
Hello, have asked this question before----but cannot find the replies now. Have purchased pulsing unit for the high level brake light. Started to look at installing the unit but would welcome any info that you may have regarding this installation. Believe that the easiest way to get to the light is through the rear number plate housing (remember that euro models do not have the reversing lights fitted in this recess, so very easy to remove the number plate and housing), Can feel the connector and wires but have not as yet disconnected, looks straight forward but welcome any thoughts.

or you can remove the license plate/backup light assembly. Take a flathead to remove the license plate trim. 4 torx 15 screws are all that stand between you and the 3rd brake light. There's plenty of room through this hole.
